Redmond Elementary PTSA Enrichment Classes - Spring 2018

Registration has not started yet.

 Email enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org if you:

1. Want to recommend a class or vendor for Spring 2018.

2. Want to join the enrichment classes team.

3. Have suggestions of how to improve our programs.

4. Want to learn more about scholarships for the next session.

5. Want to be a permanent chaperone for the next session.

 

Spring enrollment is March 18 - March 30. Five steps to enrollment: 

1. Sign-up for Enrollment Lottery. March 18 - March 24. 

2. Students in lottery are randomly selected for enrollment, or placed on wait list. March 25.

3. Families are notified of lottery decisions. Some are invited to enroll. March 26.

4. Families enroll students or release spots for waitlist. Wait list is processed until roster is full.

5. Rosters are set. March 30

 

Spring session will be April 9 - June 15.

 


 

IMPORTANT! PLEASE REVIEW PROGRAM POLICIES FOR ENRICHMENT CLASSES BEFORE PROCEED.

 

  • The After-School Enrichment Program at Redmond El is conducted entirely by volunteers with PTSA. Resources are limited, so please read and follow the Enrichment Classes Policies. 
  • Online sign-up and enrollment is preferred, but paper forms are available in the school office. Paper forms are due to the office Friday, 3/24 at 3:30 PM.
  • The enrichment program strives to be inclusive of all students in the Redmond El learning community. If your student requires accommodations or you are in need of a scholarship please email the enrichment coordinator at enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org, or contact your teacher. Scholarships are processed at the same time as the lottery, so scholarship requests are due Friday, 3/24 at 3:30 PM. All inquiries are confidential.
  • Late Registrations Not Accepted. New enrollments are not accepted after open enrollment has ended.

Policies and Procedures
Please be sure to read through all of our Enrichment Class Policies before registering your child. The enrichment classes are supported entirely by PTSA volunteers. It will save us lots of time if you could read all the policies and other important information on this page before sending questions to us.

Parent Volunteer Requirement
Our PTSA insurance policy states that in order to run our programs, at least one PTSA member, who is approved by the school district to volunteer, must be present in each class. By signing up for an enrichment class you are also agreeing to chaperone at least one class during the session, or you can choose to become a Permanent Chaperone - see the details below. Classes without Parent Volunteers will be cancelled.

Parent Chaperones must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be or become a Redmond El PTSA member for the current school year;
- Be or become LWSD background-check approved. Online Application or Fillable PDF/Paper Application

Permanent Parent Chaperone
If you are able to chaperone all weeks of your child's class, we will be offering that family preference in the lottery, and free tuition for one student in that class in return. If you are interested in being a Permanent Parent Chaperone please email us at enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org. Permanent chaperones are selected at the same time as the lottery, so requests are due by Friday, March 24 at 3:30 PM.

Refund Policy
Refunds are based on when the cancellation is received. Cancellation requests received:
On or before 04/02/2018 will receive a full refund.
- After 04/02/2018, refunds are done at the discretion of the vendor at the vendor's rate.
-There are no refunds for missed classes. Snow days will be made up if possible.
