Redmond Elementary PTSA Enrichment Classes - Spring 2018

Spring enrollment is open! Click the Link at the bottom of this page. Deadline: March 26, 3:30 PM

Please review the materials below so you understand how enrichment class enrollment will work.

1. Review the policies and procedures.

2. Review the class selections.

3. Sign up for the class you prefer. (You will be added to the waitlist.)

4. On the evening of March 26, expect to hear if you are randomly moved to the top of the waitlist and invited to pay and enroll.

Notes About the Lottery:

1. All sign-ups received by Monday, March 26 at 3:30 PM will be randomized and those at the top of the list will be invited to enroll.

2. If someone declines to enroll, the next person on the waitlist will be invited, until the class is full.

3. There is no advantage to signing up for more than one class. Each class is considered separately.

4. Please only sign up for the waitlist for a class you really want to take. Each sign-up requires volunteer time and effort.

Paper Form Enrollment

Online sign-up and enrollment is preferred, but paper forms are available in the school office, starting Friday, March 16. Paper forms are due to the office Monday, 3/26/2018 at 3:30 PM.

The enrichment program strives to be inclusive of all students in the Redmond El learning community. If your student requires accommodations or you are in need of a scholarship please email the enrichment coordinator at, or contact your teacher. Scholarships are processed at the same time as the lottery, so scholarship requests are due Monday, 3/26/2018 at 3:30 PM. All inquiries are confidential.

Policies and Procedures
Please be sure to read through all of our Enrichment Class Policies before registering your child. The enrichment classes are supported entirely by PTSA volunteers. It will save us lots of time if you could read all the policies and other important information on this page before sending questions to us.

Volunteer Requirement
Our PTSA insurance policy states that in order to run our programs, at least one PTSA member, who is approved by the school district to volunteer, must be present in each class. By signing up for an enrichment class you are also agreeing to provide a chaperone for at least one class during the session, or you can choose to become a Permanent Chaperone - see the details below. Classes with permanent chaperones will not require chaperones be provided by all the students. Classes without Parent Volunteers will be cancelled.

Parent Chaperones must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be or become a Redmond El PTSA member for the current school year;
- Be or become LWSD background-check approved. Online Application or Fillable PDF/Paper Application

Permanent Chaperone
If you are able to chaperone all weeks of your child's class, we will be offering that family preference in the lottery, and free tuition for one student in that class in return. If you are interested in being a Permanent Chaperone please email us at Permanent chaperones are selected at the same time as the lottery, so requests are due by Monday, March 26 at 3:30 PM.

Refund Policy
Refunds are based on when the cancellation is received. Cancellation requests received:
On or before 04/04/2018 will receive a full refund.
- After 04/04/2018, refunds are done at the discretion of the vendor at the vendor's rate.
-There are no refunds for missed classes. Snow days will be made up if possible.
