There is no need to have backup enrollment. The child’s lottery selection in one class doesn’t affect his/her selection in another class. Each class has a separate lottery. So PLEASE enroll your child only in the class where (if selected) your child would like to attend and you will be willing to make a payment.

Without chaperones classes will be cancelled even if enrollment in the classes are full. We can’t do it without you. So please volunteer.

FINANCIAL AID

Full scholarships are available to students with financial need. If you know a child who is not getting the benefit of the rich afterschool enrichment we offer because they cannot afford it, please ask the parent/child to reach out to their teacher or principal. We are finding resources to support everyone with our PTSA.

Policies and Procedures

Please be sure to read through all of our Enrichment Class Policies before registering your child. The enrichment classes are supported by PTSA volunteers. It will save us lots of time if you could read all the policies and other important information on this page before sending out questions to us.

Parent Volunteer Requirement (Chaperones)
Our PTSA insurance policy states that in order to run our programs, at least one PTSA member, who is approved by the school district to volunteer, must be present in each class. Classes without Parent Volunteers will be cancelled.

Parent Chaperons must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Be or become a Redmond El PTSA member for the current school year;
- Be or become LWSD background-check approved. Online Application or Fillable PDF/Paper Application

Permanent Parent Chaperon
If you are able to chaperon all weeks of your child's class, we will be offering that family free tuition for one student. If you are interested in being a Permanent Parent Chaperon please email us at enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org. Please email us before you pay for the class, so that you will not be charged with the tuition.

Payment Options
The preferred payment option is to pay with a credit card on 6crickets.com enrollment page.

If you are unable to pay online via credit card, payment can be made with a check. Please understand that check payment option takes our volunteers much more time to process than credit cards. If you need to pay by check, additional steps must be taken to pay by check after completing the online portion of the registration:
- A check must be written for the correct amount payable to "Redmond Elementary PTSA". Any mistakes will result in an automatic cancellation of the online registration and the check will be returned.
- The check must be delivered with the completed Check Submission Form to the Redmond El front office (preferred) or to the child's teacher. The check must be received by the PTSA within 2 business days of registration. If the check is not received within 2 business days, it will result in an automatic cancellation of the online registration.
- The Enrichment Coordinator (enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org) must be contacted via email with the child(ren)'s name, check number and total payment amount.

Please understand that because processing the check payment option takes our volunteers much more time, any missed steps will result in an automatic cancellation of the online registration and the check will be returned.

Refund Policy
Refunds are based on when the cancellation is received. Cancellations requests received:
On or before (January 14, 2019)  will receive a full refund.
- After (to be filled), refunds are done at the discretion of the vendor at the vendors rate.
- There are no refunds for missed classes. Snow days will be made up if possible.

Scholarships
The PTSA has a limited number of financial need-based scholarships available! More information on scholarships can be requested by contacting us at enrichmentclasses@redmondelptsa.org.

Girls Basket ball

Learn the game of basketball from former WNBA player and Stanford Basketball legend, Val Whiting. This basketball program helps young female players acquire basketball, social and team building skills in a fun and empowering manner. The one-hour instructional sessions blend fundamental skills instruction with organized team competition with the purpose of providing an enjoyable after-school athletic event. Players benefit by improving their individual skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defending while, at the same time, learning how to work within the framework of a team. The Val Whiting Hoop Academy provides girls with a chance to improve their general physical fitness, develop sportsmanship and athletic ability, and increase their knowledge of the game of basketball.
