Spelling Bee is a great way for students to expand their word knowledge and learn how to stand up in front of peers and compete in a friendly way. It is for kids from grade 1 through 5.

The suggested donation is $10, you can pay it online at the time of enrollment. The fee covers enrollment, a participation certificate, and entry into the Final School Spelling Bee provided that the student qualifies by first passing the Written Round Test. After the enrollment the students will receive a word list for preparation. The school winner will represent the school for the regional competition in Seattle.

We need volunteers to help us during next year round 2020. Please consider signing up!

  • Please use Merriam Webster to hear the pronunciation of each and every word. It also has details about the origin of the word, examples, alternate pronunciation and meaning. This website is recommend by Scripps for pronunciation. The Pronouncer would use this site as the standard for both, final school spelling bee and the regionals.
