How to Volunteer at Redmond Elementary

Volunteers are just as important to the Redmond El PTSA as donations and membership, maybe even more so!!  Many of our programs couldn't survive without volunteers, and no amount of money could replace them. The Volunteer Coordinator works with Event and Program Chairs to help them fill their volunteer needs by reaching out to the Redmond El community and the middle and high school students up the hill that need volunteer hours.

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all volunteers must go through the Lake Washington School District’s volunteer application process and be approved before beginning a volunteer assignment. The application process includes a background check through Washington State Patrol. Approvals are good for two years. If you complete the application online, you will receive a reminder when your approval is coming up for renewal.

Once you’ve been approved, you are good to volunteer! Look through our open positions and if you have any questions, please email
