Green Team is Back

Exciting News for 4th and 5th Graders: The Green Team is Back!   We are thrilled to announce that the Green Team will be returning this school year for our 4th and 5th graders! Our kickoff meeting is scheduled for  November 19th  during recess, from  2:10 to 2:50 PM , in  Ms. Thomas's classroom (Room 151) . Meetings will take place on the  third Tuesday of each month . Art Walk Callout

Art Walk The PTA is partnering with the City of Redmond's Teen Group for Redmond's Annual Art Walk on September 19th at the Old Redmond Firehouse. Students can see their artwork on display and/or perform on stage. We ask students to bring their artwork to their teachers before the date. Performances can be singing, dancing, reciting poetry, or playing an instrument. Performances are limited to 5 minutes. Redmond Elementary PTSA Votes to Oppose Initiatives 2109 and 2117   Initiative 2109 would repeal the capital gains tax, a vital funding source for public education and school construction. Repealing this tax would significantly impact essential programs that support students, early learning, and school infrastructure.   Initiative 2117 would repeal the Climate Committee Act, a vital policy that funds projects around school infrastructure, clean energy, and student health and safety. Repealing it would hurt progress on climate goals and threaten the well-being of children.
